Have uniforms to sell? It’s not too late to bring in your gently used uniforms to sell at the
New Parents Night 6-13-12 and/or Registration Day in August. Clean out those closets and make a little cash or donate the proceeds to Home & School. Summer hours are through June and you can bring them in to the front office. See our online flyer for instructions and forms to properly label and price your uniforms for sale. Bring in your gently used items anytime before and we’ll get them in the sale. If your items sell, you’ll receive the full purchase price. Home & School offers the used uniform sale as a free service to our school families so all of the proceeds go back to you. Or you can choose to donate the proceeds back to Home & School to support arts, cultural and other programs for our students.

Supply Kits Deadline Extended
You can still get your order in for the Teacher Tailored School Supply Kit! The Deadline has been extended to Tuesday, May 29th. Please remember the office is closed on Monday the 28th for the Holiday.
To make ordering even easier, you can order ONLINE and your kit will be waiting for you at registration in the fall. Go to www.shopttkits.com and enter our school account number which is 80193. Please check your child’s backpack for your School Supply Kit order form. You will notice that it is for the grade that your child will be entering next year.
THIS IS COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY. We offer these kits as a convenience to the parents of OLMC who want to buy a kit and be done with back to school shopping! Each kit contains the teacher specified supplies for that grade. You will also have the option of ordering backpacks, water bottles and Lunch Bags if you so choose! CHECKS NEED TO BE MADE PAYABLE TO OLMC. Home and School then writes one big check to Schoolkidz.
Order forms need to be turned in to your Homeroom Teacher by Friday, May 25th.

2012-13 Forms Due
If you will have a child attending Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School next year, there are two more documents we need from you now: the Enrollment Contract and SurePay Authorization. Please note that we need a new SurePay form with a voided check each school year as required by the banks. We must have these documents in the school office by the final week of school May 21-25.
To determine your tuition payments for next year, see the Tuition Criteria, 2012-13 Tuition Rates and Payment Schedule posted on the school website. For any family who is registered at a parish other than Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we also need a Parish Verification Form.

Mentor Families Needed
Interested in volunteering, but you don’t have a lot of time to commit? Do you have little ones at home and don’t know how you can help? If you have access to a computer and a phone then we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
Welcoming new families is a priority to our school community. We know that coming to a new school can sometimes be overwhelming. To make the experience easier, we have a program called Mentoring Families.
The purpose of our mentor program is to build relationships. The volunteers in this program contact new school families throughout the year. They provide assistance in answering questions, reminding them of important dates, and helping them figure out how the Food for Thought program works, just to name a few.

MathCounts Starts Tuesday
This national coaching and competition program is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Students meet after school, participate in a local meet and may eventually go to a state as well as a national competition. See our flyer for more.
