YMCA Expands After School Program at OLMC
The YMCA has initiated additional methods for after school care at OLMC. Beginning on November 5, parents may choose to drop off children on a daily basis rather than on a full time basis.
The following steps are the way to participate in this new procedure:
1. There is an annual program fee of $35 which has to be paid in order to participate. This fee enables a student to sign up for any YMCA program for the next 12 months.
2. Parents must complete the registration form which can be obtained in the school office and returned to the Y staff at the school or the main YMCA office in Tempe.
3. Parents can choose either of two plans. The first one costs $20 per day per child if you commit to 1 – 5 days a week every week. This includes half days. If one chooses this program, there is a 30 day notification period in order to leave it.
4. The second choice is for the occasional drop in. The cost is $10 an hour per child.
