I hope you have been having a good Advent. As we enter our last week before the Christmas break and if your response to Advent has been somewhat negative, we have a few things coming which may be of assistance.
First, we will continue to have our daily Advent Wreath ceremony. It does not take a lot of time and is a nice way to begin the day. We gather in the prayer garden right after the first bell and you can be on your way by 8:10.
Secondly, we will have our Christmas program this Thursday night. Mrs. Pivonka and the children have been preparing hard for this presentation. The evening will emphasize Christmas carols from around the world. This theme fits into our Passport to the World program which the students have been doing during the year and which will continue into next semester.
Lastly, this week’s Mass has been moved. Instead of Wednesday, it will be on Friday at 11:30. It will be a nice way to end the day, as school will let out at 12:30.
If possible, please join us for one or all of these events. And then have a Blessed Christmas and a Holy New Year!
