Sunday, September 21, 2014 is our annual blood drive. Almost everyone during their life will know someone who needs a blood transfusion. They may be an accident or trauma victim, cancer or transplant patient, someone with a bleeding disorder or someone who suffers unexpected blood loss. Whatever the case, there is no substitute and still only one source of blood for transfusion—volunteer donors. Our blood drive falls right after the Feast of San Gennaro (9/19)—what better way to remember this amazing saint than to donate blood?
