Dear Parents,
The first week of school is now officially under our belts. I want to thank you all for your patience in the parking lot, diligence in having the children to school on time, and the well wishes the faculty and staff have received from you this week. It has been a great joy to have the children back on campus, to see them learn their new routines, and to celebrate mass together this past Wednesday as a community. As we move towards next week, I would once again ask that all students wear only the polo shirts with the new emblem on them. I appreciate you cooperation with this. I look forward to the coming weeks, and hope that you will all put September 19th on your social calendars as that will be the evening of our Welcome Back Barbecue sponsored by the Dad’s Club. Please continue to pray for our students, staff and community.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hermie
Principal

Works of Mercy Campaign
Student council is holding its annual back-to-school supply drive for St. Peter’s Mission School through August 31st. Also, we’ll be collecting peanut butter and jelly for St. Vincent de Paul. This is part of the 2015-16 Works of Mercy Campaign, which benefits our neighbors in need. Donations boxes are located in each classroom.
In addition to our drives, every month each classroom has the goal of collecting at least $25.00 (just under $1.00 per student) for their mission jar. Students are encouraged to earn the money at home for their contribution. OLMC donates the Mission Jar collections to four important charities: Friends of Orphans, St. Vincent de Paul, Aid to Women Center, and the Charity and Development Appeal (CDA).
We appreciate the OLMC community’s support!
