The school will join the Parish community for Mass at 8:00 a.m.
All students will drop off backpacks in designated areas in McCready Hall, then go to the church to sit with their classes in their usual Mass spots. All children in before school care will be escorted to McCready Hall to drop off personal items, then will be escorted to church. Supervision will be on hand in McCready Hall to direct the children. All children and parents are encouraged to attend Mass with our parish community. Teachers will take attendance after Mass. Following Mass, classes will gather personal belongings from McCready Hall and go to the classrooms as a class.
St. Vincent de Paul Food Boxing Project
“We are the hands and feet of Christ working to serve others.” Students will pack food boxes with donated items for St. Vincent de Paul. They will also write notes of encouragement and hope to include in the boxes. Students with buddies will have the opportunity to decorate the boxes. Our goal is 50 food boxes. Please see the requested donation items list divided by class.

Technavenger Hunt starting at 9:00 a.m.
Throughout the day, Students will pair up with their buddies (4th and 5th graders will partner up with each other) to participate in a technology scavenger hunt.
School Mass at 2:00 p.m.

*Wear orange accessories for effective communicator day!
Service Speaker Series starting at 9:00 a.m.
High school and college students will visit the classrooms to give 10-12 minute presentations about their experiences with community service and show photos from their own service projects and mission trips. They will explain how everyone can participate in Christian service. Each class will hear three presentations. Following the presentations, teachers will conduct
a prepared lesson regarding the service opportunities presented.

Former OLMC student and American Idol Contestant Thomas Muglia will give a concert in McCready Hall.
