Principal’s Corner

Mr. HermieDear OLMC Community,

This past week was one for celebration.

On Monday, the kindergartners treated those in attendance at the Stars and Stripes performance to an outstanding, entertaining, and patriotic program. Their joy and excitement brought smiles to the faces of everyone in the crowd.

On Friday we celebrated our May Crowning mass. Seeing the 8th graders in their caps an gowns was a reminder of the many blessings God has bestowed upon them and the adventures they now have at their fingertips. We will enjoy our remaining time with them before they move onto high school and the next phase of their educational careers. Please continue to pray for them during this very exciting time in their lives.

On Saturday, our 3rd graders, along with additional students celebrated their First Communion and Confirmation. It was a fantastic ceremony and celebration of their sacraments. I would like to congratulate all those who participated.

As Mother’s Day approaches this Sunday, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the mothers in our OLMC community who give so selflessly to support the school in so many ways. I wish you all a blessed day with your loved ones and a restful weekend.

Sincerely,

Bruce Hermie
Principal
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School
