Principal’s Corner – November 6, 2016
Dear OLMC Community,
I would like to thank all our parents for attending conferences this past week. As the primary educators of your children, your presence and knowledge of your student’s growth helps facilitate our partnership to encourage success for our school community. Please continue to be in touch with your child’s teacher when you have questions or need assistance.
It is hard to believe, but the month of November has arrived. As we prepare to give thanks for the many blessings in our lives at the end of this month, I know many of us begin to look forward to the Christmas holiday as well. This week, our Food For Thought program will have our annual credit card “Charge Week” on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you are prepared to begin your holiday shopping, this is a great time to purchase gift cards in order to give or buy gifts for your loved ones. This will be the last charge week until the end of the school year, so we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity. You may purchase gift cards 4% and higher with a credit card during charge week. See our full inventory of gift cards>>
The Dad’s Club will be hosting their first family movie night of the year on Saturday, November 12th. We hope that you bring your blankets and lawn chairs and join us. Admission is a recommended donation of $3.00 per family, and there will be snacks available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Dad’s Club and their support of the school.
