There’s a lot going on around campus in our primary grades. This past week our preschool and kindergarten had their Thanksgiving feasts, complete with festive pilgrim and Native American costumes. Our first-graders have been recalling the lives of the Saints via their Saint can projects. They’ve also been studying the life cycle of plants, planting pinto beans, and making observations of their growth. In the 3rd grade, the students studied the lives of the Saints by making informational presentations of their chosen Saints. All around, the children learned a great deal about the meaning of gratitude for all of the life’s little (and big) blessings.
