OLMC Appreciates Mr. Hermie –
November 27, 2016
At Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic School we’re blessed to have a dedicated principal devoted to serving our families and the school through his administration of Catholic education.
Beloved by students, parents, and teachers alike, Mr. Bruce Hermie’s commitment to the school extends far beyond his call of duty. You can learn more about Mr. Hermie by reading his bio on our Faculty and Staff page. In the wake of National Principal Appreciation Month, Home & School would like to thank Principal Hermie for all he does for our school. We’re very grateful for his important role in our wonderful community.

This Week On Campus
There’s a lot going on around campus in our primary grades. This past week our preschool and kindergarten had their Thanksgiving feasts, complete with festive pilgrim and Native American costumes.
Our first-graders have been recalling the lives of the Saints via their Saint can projects. They’ve also been studying the life cycle of plants, planting pinto beans, and making observations of their growth.
In the 3rd grade, the students studied the lives of the Saints by making informational presentations of their chosen Saints. All around, the children learned a great deal about the meaning of gratitude for all of the life’s little (and big) blessings.
