Advent Prayer Before School
Parents are welcome to join us before school each morning in the prayer garden for student-led prayer and the lighting of our school Advent wreath. We wish all of our families a peaceful Advent season.
St. Nicholas Visits OLMC
In honor of his feast day, the students received a special treat from St. Nicholas, the patron Saint of children, at lunch yesterday. Widely celebrated in Europe, children traditionally set out shoes on the eve of St. Nicholas’ feast day in exchange for simple gifts. We encourage our families to learn more about St. Nicholas and the lives of the Saints as we mark the season of Advent. Thank you to our Home & School board for arranging St. Nicholas’ visit!

How FFT Helps Our School: Hospitality
OLMC’s community spirit is what sets us apart from other faith communities. Our Home & School hospitality committee strives to create an inviting atmosphere in which relationships can bud, blossom, and thrive. It’s through their creative efforts that we welcome our community members, new and old, to join with us in our Catholic mission and educational causes.
From monthly coffrees and student activities to staff and volunteer appreciation events and Sacrament receptions, our devoted volunteers prepare refreshments and the welcoming environment our community members have come to know and love. It’s all made possible by our Food for Thought Program.
Through your participation in FFT, our Home & School members fund events that bring in new families, celebrate milestones, and support those who work so hard for us every day to make OLMC the wonderful place it is. Even better, it does so at no extra cost to you. To all those who contribute to FFT, thank you for providing the means for our driving force of faith.
