School-wide Service Project: SVdP

St. Vincent de PaulAs part of Catholic Schools Week, OLMC is undertaking a school-wide service project benefiting our parish pantry of St. Vincent de Paul.

We’re asking students to bring in items throughout the month of January for a school-wide boxing project on Friday, February 3rd for SVdP’s pantry. Students received a bag to carry their donation items to school.

The success of the event is contingent on the generous donations of our school families. The goal is two to three items per student so that we can meet our goal of packing 50 boxes. What follows is a list of items each class is asked to bring:

KA        Powdered Milk
KB        Mac & Cheese
1A        Breakfast Cereal
1B        Canned Beans
2A        Canned Refried Beans
2B        Canned Soup
3A        Boxed Rice
3B        Peanut Butter
4A        Jelly
4B        Bar Soap
5A        Tomato Sauce
5B        Canned Stew
6A        Instant Potatoes
