Arizona Scholarship Fund Disbands

arizona-scholarship-fund-asfAs of January 27, 2017, The Arizona Scholarship Fund will no longer accept tax credit donations. All remaining funds will be dispersed for the 2016-17 school year. ASF will continue to accept e-applications for 2016-17 scholarship funds until April 30, 2017. Awards will be released around the 10th and 20th of each month as usual until the April cut-off.

ASF will begin hosting a web show and podcast called “The Extra Credit Show,” which will begin in March. Executive Director ChamBria Henderson, who spearheaded the tax credit movement over twenty years ago, will interview top school choice leaders from around the nation, discussing innovation, empowerment, and accountability in schools.

As ASF makes this transition, they are providing a list of alternate school tuition organizations on their website. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact ASF or Rita Villegas in the parish office.
