Principal’s Corner – February 5, 2017

hermieDear OLMC Community,

Catholic Schools Week has come and gone. It was an outstanding week of events for our students, and there are many highlights from the week to note.

I would like to thank all the parents who took the time to organize, supervise, and participate in the field day festivities. It is a fantastic example of organized chaos, and the students definitely enjoyed their time playing and competing.

We are grateful for all the families who joined us Wednesday evening for our A Walk Through History museum event. The evening was very well-attended and was a testament to how talented and skilled our students are.

On Thursday, we were fortunate enough to have Sisters Veronica, Maria Jose, Maria Christina, and Maria Alejandra share about how they chose their vocation and sing with our community. It was an outstanding afternoon and an opportunity for our students to get to know the sisters on a more personal level.

The students did a fantastic job, on Friday, prepping and putting together the food boxes and items for St. Vincent de Paul. The food drive was a success as a result of the generosity of our families.

Sincerely,

Bruce Hermie
Principal
