Principal’s Corner – February 19, 2017

hermieDear OLMC Community,

I would like to thank you for your graciousness in welcoming our guests and answering any questions they may have had for you over the last few school days. The accreditation visit was a success and I am grateful to our students, teachers, parent groups, and all those in our community who have taken part in this process over the last 18 months. The visiting team was very impressed with the school, our community, and the programs we offer.

Next week, we start registration for the 2017-2018 school year. You should have received a registration packet last week from your oldest student. A schedule for registration is included in this newsletter. If you have any questions regarding the registration process, please contact the front office.

For those parents who desire a conference on March 2nd or 3rd, please have your slips back to your student’s teacher no later than Tuesday. Conferences for the second semester are not mandatory. Please remember that March 2nd and 3rd are also half days with dismissal at 12:30 p.m. There will be no learning labs on March 2nd, and all students on campus after 12:45 p.m. will go to Kid’s Club.

Sincerely,

Bruce Hermie
Principal
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic School
