What a sweet start to the Lenten season.
Our 3rd graders practiced their cursive, the 4th graders were brainstorming project ideas in science, the 6th grade students studied energy transformation, and our 7th grade students tested their jigsaw note-taking skills.
The 5th graders separated into groups to read weather patterns. They also began the season of Lent by completing a beautiful Art Masterpiece project on Our Lady of Sorrow. The students put together their artwork into two books, one of which they will give to the Sisters. Thank you to Dr. Hackett for giving the presentation.
The OLMC Dad’s Club was in fine form for their annual Father/Daughter Dance. A big thank you to the dance’s chairman, Aaron Roth, who coordinated the event. A few of the Dad’s Club members followed up with a golf outing on Sunday, playing 18 holes at the Kokopelli Golf Club in Gilbert. Thanks for all your hard work, dads.
