Dear OLMC Community,
Another school year has come to a close. I wanted to thank our OLMC Dad’s Club for their efforts in putting on the end of the year barbeque this past Wednesday. The event was well attended, and it was a great way to celebrate the end of the school year as a community.
I also want to extend a very special thank you to all of our students, parents, faculty, and staff for a fantastic 2016-2017 school year. As the students looked back on the year through their yearbooks this week and reminisced at class parties, it was evident that they shared many good times, built friendships, and grew as a community. I wish all our families a safe and enjoyable summer. I hope this time away is one filled with joy and family time. We will look forward to welcoming our students back in August. May God continue to bless each of our school families and our entire OLMC community.

The Dad’s Club would like to thank all who attended and helped with the End of Year BBQ this year.

Summer Office Hours
The school office will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. throughout the month of June. The office will close for the summer starting in July and reopen August 1, 2017. You can contact the office at 480-967-5567.
Summer FFT Hours
FFT will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the school office June 1st through June 27th.
FFT will be closed June 29th for audit. You can also order online for pick up after weekend masses. Online orders must be placed by Friday at noon for weekend pickup.
School Supply Kits
It’s time to pre-order school supply kits for the 2017-18 school year. Save yourself time and money! Schoolkidz, a Staples Company, offers wholesale prices with no shipping costs or sales tax for online orders.
Each grade has a customized kit according to teachers’ supply lists for next year. Check out the Schoolkidz website for pricing information or to order. Our school code is 80193. A sample kit will be on display in the school office.

Did you know that stewardship families have access to most parish services at no cost,* including tuition at OLMC School? Family stewardship is the parish’s way of assisting families, who are actively involved in the parish, to afford Catholic education. Here are some of our most frequently asked questions>>

Geared toward children ages three to incoming fifth graders, this week of wacky fun, learning about God’s love, is sure to please. You can register online at the parish website. This in-store event is where you can pick up new uniforms for the 2017-18 school year. Our FFT representatives will have their full stock of FFT gift cards so that you can get your total and buy just the FFT you need at purchase! Dennis scrip is 8% profit. While you’re there you can stock up on other FFT scrip you may need for back-to-school shopping, last minute summer getaways, or grocery store gift cards for those breakfasts/lunches on the go.

Corporations Can Help CEA
Did you know the State of Arizona allows corporations to re-direct their AZ state tax liability?
You can help children in need attend a school that best serves their needs by participating in the Corporate Tuition Tax Credit. Eligible corporations include C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Insurance companies that collect premiums, and LLC’s who file their state taxes as a C-Corp or an S-Corp.
Please consider redirecting your state tax liability to qualified Student Tuition Organizations such as Catholic Education Arizona (CEA). Please see the flyer for more information.
Hospitality Coordinator Wanted
Do you love to plan parties? Have a creative flair? If you said, “Yes” to either of these questions, Home & School wants you!
The Home & School Board is looking for volunteers for our hospitality committee beginning in the fall. Our committee would be tasked with planning and carrying out small receptions throughout the school year. No previous experience or skills required. Just a willing heart!
