Falcon Five-2

1. Principal’s Corner

Dear OLMC Community,hermie

This coming week students will take the ITBS standardized test. Each year our second through eighth grade students take the ITBS test as a barometer of where they stand in their academic growth. This year ITBS testing will take place the week of September 11th. During this time period, students will have limited homework as we place an emphasis on them being well rested and refreshed. In order to help your student(s) prepare, please make sure they are getting a good night sleep, eating a good breakfast, and arriving to school on time.  Should your student be absent, they will take the portion of testing they missed the week of September 18th.  Should your student arrive late, they must check in with the Nurse’s office prior to reporting to class.

Please remember that this coming Friday is a half-day for teacher professional development. Dismissal will be at 12:30 and any student who has not been picked up by 12:45 will be sent to Kid’s Club. This Friday is not a spirit dress day and students should be in their regular uniforms.

 4. Little Flowers/Little Women’s Clubslittle flowers

Are you looking for a fun-filled, faith-based club for girls?  OLMC is starting a Little Flowers’ Club (K-3rd Grade) and a Little Women’s Club (4th-6th Grade) in October.
Little Flowers’ Club is a Catholic club for girls that teaches virtues through scripture, saints’ biographies, prayer, song, crafts and fellowship. The Little Women’s program aims to teach young women virtues and life skills through saint and scripture study, practical life skills, and hospitality. The goal of our program is to introduce girls to the value of Christ-centered hospitality and the building of life-long friendships.
The first meeting will be held on Friday, October 6th at 12:30pm-2:30pm on campus.  Meetings will be twice each month on Fridays.  Registration forms and schedules have been sent home with students, but please feel free to let us know that you are interested by giving us your name, your student’s name and email at the attached link.  And, of course, we would LOVE your help! If you are interested in volunteering your time or talent, you may sign-up on the link as well!
You may find more general information on Little Flower and Little Women Clubs at  You may also email our club coordinators at Little Flowers (Noel Storer) or Little Women (Ashley Hall)
