Falcon Five-2

1. Principal’s Corner

Dear OLMC Community,hermie

This week we welcome the season of Advent with our annual beginning of the day prayer around the Advent wreath at 8:05 a.m. The Advent prayers will continue daily until we reach the Christmas break. All parents are welcome to join us for the prayer session which usually lasts for about five minutes prior to the start of the school day.

Our school mass this week will be celebrated on Friday for The Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Mass will be at 2 p.m. and, as always, we invite the community to join us. Please make sure your students are in appropriate mass dress on Friday.

If your student is missing a lunchbox, sweater or other item, please stop by the lost and found. We will be donating all items not claimed to charitable organizations at the end of the week.

I want to remind all parents that no students should be walking to the front of the church/school area at dismissal unaccompanied. There is no supervision on the front side of the church/school. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the students safe.

 4. Stuff the Stockings for Teachers & Staff

Wondering what to do about teacher gifts this year?Pinterest Fail

Worried about another “Pinterest Fail”?

Don’t be! For your convenience, Home & School is gathering their annual collection for teachers and staff. Teachers and Staff have put together FFT Wish Lists, and all YOU have to do is send in this easy form (along with cash or a check payable to OLMC) to the school office by Friday, December 15. That’s it! Teacher gifts done!

This is a strictly voluntary collection, but it is an easy and convenient way to give back to the teachers and staff who do so much during the school year. Donations may be directed to specific individuals or given to be distributed amongst all of our hardworking staff.

No donation is too big or too small. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
