Falcon Five-2

Dear OLMC Community,

I hope this version of the Principal’s corner finds everyone enjoying family time over the long weekend. Things have been in full swing at OLMC this week with our volleyball and football teams beginning practice in the afternoons and the routines of the school year setting in. We have a spirited group of athletes making preparations for their upcoming seasons and I would invite everyone to come out and support them when games get under way.

This week we had our first fire drill. The children did very well moving quickly and quietly out of the classrooms.

Friday, September 7th is a half day. The students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.  Any student not picked up by 12:45 will go to Kid’s Club. It is also our first Spirit Day. The children may wear their OLMC spirit shirt and jeans or jean shorts. Please see the handbook for the Jean’s Day dress code.

I wish you all a peaceful and restful long weekend.

olmc falcon logoOLMC Catholic School is a dynamic school community where faith and learning are intertwined to nurture the mind, body, and soul of each student it serves. It is also a community of dedicated teachers who value every student and their success. The OLMC Annual Falcon Fund-A-Need program is beginning its second year, and it is a unique way to connect our generous community with teachers and students by supporting their classrooms and learning experience. The teachers have submitted their wishlists for this school year, and you can directly impact students by helping meet their classroom needs. Anyone can make a difference today.  We sincerely appreciate the continual support of our parents, alumni, parish friends, and community supporters through our annual Falcon Fund-a-Need program. This campaign will be open for the month of September, and your donations can be made online here. Thank you! Your generosity truly makes a difference in the educational experience that we provide for each OLMC Catholic School student.

photo of plants on the tableMoms, please join us for a night out to eat, socialize, and learn! Our topic for the evening will be the FFT program: the benefits the FFT program provides to our students and how using FFT can work for you. If you have follow up questions after Thursday’s “How to Afford a Catholic Education” seminar, we can help with that, too! OLMC has a great community, and we invite you to spend some time together while learning a little bit more about our school (and how to make it easier on your pocketbook)! Please join us at the Sullivan residence on September 7th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Please RSVP to the event and get more details through this sign up genius. We look forward to seeing you!
