Falcon Five-2

1. PRINCIPAL’S CORNER

Dear OLMC Community:

I wanted to begin with a huge thank you to the Home and School Board for such a great event this past Saturday! The Trunk or Treat was a huge it! It was a great time of fellowship and community. The trunks were so creative, the kids looked adorable, and the food and music was great! Thank you again to Home and School for all their hard work planning this event. I also want to thank the Dad’s Club for assisting with security and the water station, the 7thgraders for the face painting, Faith Formation for the crafts, and all of the families who decorated trunks. All around this was so much fun! I feel so blessed to be part of this community.

We are looking forward to welcoming parents to school this week for conferences. We will have half-day schedules Wednesday-Friday this week with dismissal at 12:30. Any student not picked up by 12:45 will be sent to Kid’s Club.

The book fair will take place in the library this week. It will be open during conference days until 3pm if you would like to purchase books for your children to read now or for Christmas. Scholastic books are reasonably priced and make excellent gifts!

We will not have Mass on Wednesday but on Thursday as this is All Saint’s Day. Please remind the children to wear their Mass dress on Thursday.

Looking forward to a great week.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Shewbridge

Principal

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School
