Falcon Five-2

Dear OLMC Community,

I wanted to thank the Dad’s Club for a hosting their movie night this weekend. I appreciate all the work they put into organizing the event. The movie was cute!

As we begin the Advent season, we will start praying together in the morning before school and lighting the Advent Wreath. The 7thgrade students will lead us in prayer. This will begin at 8:05 am. If you have a few minutes, please stay and pray with us.

Friday is a half day with a 12:30 dismissal. The children can also wear jeans and a spirit shirt.

As Christmas break approaches, I would invite all families to use our FFT program for all your gift card and present buying needs. Thank you to all our families who have met their FFT minimum and continue to use the program to benefit the students. There are currently a number of bonuses that can be taken advantage of, and FFT will be sold at the Christmas play on December 19th.

I would ask all parents help in cleaning up a couple of issues in the parking lot. When dropping off students in the morning, please do so on the south side of the lot so parishioners exiting from morning mass and staff members entering for the day can navigate the north side safely. Also, as you enter campus, please enter slowly and be aware of pedestrians crossing and cross traffic moving to the front of the church at the exit. Please park on the south side of the parking lot in the afternoon. It is dangerous to exit through the north side as the children are waiting there. When leaving at the end of the day, please use the crosswalk so the children remain safe. Thank you for your diligence in making the pick-up and drop-off processes safe for all.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Tackle your FFT family minimum for Christmas! Stop by the office or after mass to purchase FFT cards for shopping and gifting. Check out the website (here) to shop the current list of cards. Order online and have the cards sent home with your student or available for you to pick up in the office. Here are some more ideas for how to incorporate FFT into this season of giving.
1)  Extended holiday hours make it easy! Cash or Check only.

2)  Treat your employees to FFT gift cards.

3) Give the gift of chocolate from See’s Candy.

5) Pay your FFT balance in December and take as a donation on your taxes.

Come join our world-class OLMC musicians for a night of praise, worship, and free food! All people from young to old are encouraged to attend this lively but prayerful evening. You will not be disappointed!
