National School Nurses Day – May 10th

Wednesday, May 10th marks National School Nurse Day, and we’re so blessed to have one as caring and as knowledgeable as Mrs. Shannon David.

As our school’s injury and illness expert and first-responder to critical incidents, Mrs. David familiarizes herself with each individual child’s medical needs, whether it involves chronic illness, allergy, or routine medical care. Not only does Mrs. David counsel and educate our staff, students, and parents on the best practices for child health and safety, she also aids in monitoring our students’ development with a watchful eye and a loving heart.

On behalf of the OLMC community, we’d like to thank Nurse David for her immeasurable contribution to our school. If you see her this Wednesday, be sure to wish her a very happy School Nurse Day.
